Definition

In old LookML, joins begins a section of LookML where you can add additional views to an explore by defining the join relationship between those views and the explore.

In order to actually do anything, joins requires that you nest one or more join parameters underneath it.

Most of the information you’ll need about executing joins is found on the page describing join.

Common Challenges

joins Is Not The Same Parameter As join

Don’t confuse the plural parameter joins with the singular parameter join. A joins parameter has one or more join parameters nested underneath it.
